HOUSEWIFES COLLECTIVE

We Don’t Like Your Tone

In this performance installation a dialogue is created about the recent history of sexual assaults and violence against women in the downtown Orlando area. Housewifes Collective proposes the creation of a deconstructed home which encourages participants to walk the length of the AIOP corridor. The placement and content of the abstracted rooms which comprise the home would provide safe and hospitable thoughts occupied by artists of local feminist collective Housewifes and facilitating the display of non-traditional artworks.
