Project Darkroom

This interactive installation aims to introduce passersby to the magic of analog photography. To achieve this, the artists covered the interior of a POD shipping container with light tight fabric to create a safe space to develop black and white film and print silver gelatin print. The space will contain a washbasin sink, enlarger for 35mm film, and a drying line for artwork to dry. Project Darkroom will create a small show of photographs developed and printed in the space, as well as educating the public on traditional darkroom techniques.
