KLIMCHAK

The Pied Piper's Payback

These musical performances are based on the Grimm Brothers story. In the fairy tale, the children were lured away from the town by the dulcet tones of the piper’s pipe as punishment for the town’s refusal to pay him. Reversing that story, Klimchak will lure children and adults INTO the city as he travels around on his theremin-bike, playing sounds & music to attract folks into following him along his journey. The theremin, a 21st century version of the flute, plays electronic tones when Klimchak waves his hands in the air around the instrument.
