Foolish Bebop rips words from the page and tosses remnants of memories into the soundscape of a street corner. In the performance, five artists move through time, space, and rhythm, immersing the spectators in a unique audible experience of noise. What can be heard can define our world; what we listen to can change lives. The project turns a quintet on its ear, smashing structures, breaking and rebuilding sounds, creating something beautifully foolish and new. The spectator will be left pondering this unorthodox arrangement — Is it poetic? Is it fragmented? Is it just noise, or is it a complex harmony of foolish beauty?
