Auto Record

Auto Record is a printed artwork that acknowledges the Greensboro Massacre and commemorates it by adding to the dialogue surrounding the incident through thorough investigation and comprehensive depiction of the automobiles that were involved.  The work will appear in plastic newspaper racks placed along Greensboro’s Elm Street. This free artist’s publication is created using stenciled imagery in a hybrid format based on the traditional print genre of processions (both military and funeral) and free used car advertisement publications. The vehicles are faithfully treated as pictographs embodying the drivers and passengers.
